We’re glad to have you visit our web site and hope you will be our guest at SCBC. You are invited to find out more about South County Baptist Church at our Discover South County class which is hosted by our pastor and his wife each Sunday morning at 9:45. During this four-week class, you'll have an opportunity to meet each of our ministry staff members and discover the many facets of the SCBC Family.
Dr. Childers will share the South County story with you as well as what it means to be a Christian. Our staff will also take time to answer questions you may have about the church. While you’ll have a chance to join the church at the conclusion of the class, there’s no pressure. If you want to find out more, join us at Discover South County and feel free to jump in at any point during the four weeks. Each week will be self-contained so you won't feel left behind.

What do I wear to a service?
Come as you are. We care about you -- not what you wear! The people at SCBC wear everything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual.
The Worship
Dr. John's messages focus on real life issues. It’s not about religion - it’s about a relationship with God. It’s not about pretending that we’re perfect – it’s about a perfect God who is willing to give His grace to grow us.
Where do I park?
We have a special spot just for you. It's located on the right just as you pull in our parking lot.
What about my kids?
South County is a family-friendly environment. We believe that children
are a blessing from God and should be taught about God in a fun
learning environment. There is an active children’s ministry on
our campus. Use the menu at the top click ministries then find Children's Ministry, for up to day info on what SCBC kids are up to!
How do I get involved?
