Nov 16-23, 2020 is shoe box collection week!

South County Baptist Church is serving as a drop-off point for Operation Christmas Child®, a project of Samaritan's Purse®. Gifts are distributed in the name of Jesus Christ to children worldwide, many of whom have never received a gift before. The Gospel message is shared and lives are changed! • Since 1993, OCC has collected and delivered more than 178 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 160 countries and territories.
  • Since 2009, more than 23 million children who have received a shoebox gift have participated in The Greatest Journey—a 12‑lesson discipleship program. Children learn from trained, local volunteers what it means to follow Jesus and share their faith with friends and family.
  • Delivered into the hands of children through local churches, every gift is an opportunity to share about Jesus Christ and God’s love.
  • In 2020, OCC hopes to collect enough shoeboxes to reach another 11 million children in countries like Peru, the Philippines, Rwanda and Ukraine.
