Small Groups provide an opportunity to study the Word of God in a smaller setting with people who are at a similar life stage as you. In addition to our Sunday Morning Small Group Bible studies which meet at 9:45 AM, we offer small groups throughout the week. Contact Phil Spears at [email protected] for current opportunities.
Becoming Women Who Bring Glory to God
Our Women's Ministry is committed to being obedient to the challenge found in Romans 12:2 to 'be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.’ We believe in deepening our relationship with God and with each other as we grow closer to Him. We have several Women's Ministry events throughout the year.
Our men's ministry is a dynamic group of men who seek to bring glory to God through accountability, outreach and Bible study.
In addition to special events throughout the year, our men gather on Thursday mornings at 7 a.m. for prayer and accountability.
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."
Our Senior Adult Ministry is an active group which seeks to provide outlets for ministry and activities for members and guests of SCBC. The Senior Adult Ministry bulletin board, located outside of the church office, lists all of the scheduled activities and ministries.
The mission of our SCBC Life Team is to equip the people of South County Baptist to be Gospel-driven champions of life. In partnership with Churches for Life, our Life Team strives to be a positive, multi-faceted, trusted, and consistent leader in affirming and cherishing human life at all stages -- because human beings are made in the sacred image of God.
Toward this end, our Life Team works to support our South County Homeless Ministry, The Pregnancy Help Center of South County, our Missouri Baptist Children's Home, and other similar Gospel-centered ministries.
We also offer resources for end of life issues such as our "Navigating Life with Dementia" workshop. Check back here for more information or send us an email at [email protected] to get involved.
C.A.M.O. (Christian Archers of Missouri) - The mission of C.A.M.O is to serve South County Baptist Church and the community in providing a unique Christian outreach program as a special ministry designed to reach out to children and adults.
By teaching the sport of archery and using equipment designed to make it fun and easy, it is our goal through Christian fellowship and recreation to assist in bringing many people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. One of the highlights of the year for C.A.M.O is our annual "Sportsmen's Night Out."
C.A.M.O offers free practice shoots every other Monday in the Spring. Shoots begin at 6:30 PM and end by 8:00 PM. Parents are asked to stay with children. For more information call 314-843-5558
