There are many opportunities to serve at South County Baptist Church. We want you to find the one that best suits your personality, skills, passion and availability. Service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church.

Volunteers on our Greeter Team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They create a welcoming environment for everyone by greeting, answering questions, assisting and directing in the parking lot as well as inside. Our Ushers greet and assist guests as they enter the sanctuary as well as during worship services. If you are interested in finding out more about either of these teams, please e-mail us at [email protected].

Preschool and Kids volunteers help children experience Jesus on their level. Volunteers have the opportunity to shepherd and care for our little ones by leading classrooms, helping families check in, and providing care for infants and toddlers in a safe, clean and fun environment. If you are interested in finding out more about serving our kids, please e-mail Josh Easter at [email protected]

Serving in the student ministry allows volunteers the opportunities to foster relationships with students and minister to them through the teaching and studying of scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They engage with students during Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, lead small groups, and help with events and student outreach. If you are interested in finding out more about serving our students, please e-mail Josh Easter at [email protected].

As believers we have all been given a mission, and we find our purpose when we embrace it. So what is our mission? To seek the glory of God and the good of all peoples through Jesus Christ. At SCBC, we carry out this mission locally, regionally, and internationally. We have opportunities to serve in community ministries, global missions, mission trips, and more! If you are interested in finding out more about missions, please e-mail Joe Spicer at [email protected]

Church members involved in our worship teams use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord. There are many ways you can get involved in our worship ministry including choir, praise team, worship band, lighting, sound, media, visual arts, drama, photography, and videography. We also have special worship events that include orchestral or brass instruments. We would love to have you join us! If you are interested in finding out more about serving in worship, please e-mail Linda Brady at [email protected].

Church members involved in our adult ministry can serve and use their gifts in a variety of ministries including Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry, Small Groups, and more. E-mail Phil at [email protected] for more information.

The care ministry of South County Baptist Church glorifies God, undergirds the members and ministries of His church in prayer, and leads believers to a deeper, more intimate walk with God. We have opportunities for volunteers to serve new members, spend time in our prayer room, help out with counseling, and so much more! If you are interested in finding out more about our Care Team, please e-mail us at [email protected]om.
