The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Since SCBC collected its first shoebox, the faithful giving of our members has allowed us to expand our role and impact in this global effort of spreading joy and the good news of Christ.

Through the generosity of our membership, SCBC has been able to partner with the Pregnancy Help Center in their efforts to educate, support and empower women facing unplanned pregnancies.   In addition to the financial support provided through our annual budget, the SCBC Life Team holds occasional fundraisers to provide the center with additional funds.
