Kids + Students
Partnering with parents to raise disciples of Jesus.
Youth
6th-12th Grade
SCBC is passionate about providing students in grades 6 – 12 with opportunities to connect, grow in their faith, serve others and develop into leaders all while having a blast and creating lifelong memories.
SUNDAY MORNINGS @ 9:35 AM
Every Sunday students in grades 6 – 12 are encouraged to attend worship with their family and then join us for Student Connect, a large group Bible study. They will deepen their faith, build friendships and learn more about what it means to follow Christ.
WEDNESDAYS @ 6 PM
Every Wednesday night beginning at 6 pm, youth in grades 6 – 12 are invited to a midweek worship service designed just for them. Students will be encouraged and challenged by God’s Word, engage in powerful worship, and have tons of fun hanging out with friends!

Kids
Kindergarten-5th Grade
SCBC Kids is for children in grades K-5. We work to continue to build upon the foundation started during preschool. We do this by teaching our kids about the character of God and the examples of His grace through the pages of Scripture. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating an environment that promotes an opportunity of growth and understanding.
SUNDAY MORNINGS @ 9:35 AM
Kids participate in large group worship and teaching, as well as age and developmentally appropriate small groups where they can learn more about the lesson, ask questions, and build relationships with their peers and group leaders.
WEDNESDAYS @ 6 PM
Through music, engaging activities, and interactive lessons, Kids’ Quest invites children in grades K–5 to explore big truths about God in ways they can understand and enjoy. Each week, kids discover how God’s story is still unfolding around the world through missions, and they have fun learning and memorizing Scripture that will stay with them for life.
Our goal is to create a joyful, safe place where children can grow in character, kindness, and faith—planting seeds that will continue to flourish for years to come.
Scouting Programs
SCBC is proud to host two scouting programs: American Heritage Girls (for girls ages 5–18) and Trail Life (for boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade). Both are Christ-centered programs that help kids and teens grow in character, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful friendships through hands-on activities and service.
Participants are encouraged to grow in integrity, responsibility, and compassion as they serve God, their families, their community, and their country.
Both troops meet at SCBC on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm—offering fun, challenge, and encouragement in a safe, supportive environment.
Preschool
3 months-PreK
We partner with parents to help lay the first building blocks for a strong foundation in life and faith. Preschoolers are naturally curious and love to learn through play, so each classroom is filled with interactive activities, hands-on learning, and a colorful, engaging atmosphere.
Our caring team teaches children about God in ways they can understand—through stories, songs, crafts, and play that spark wonder and joy.
Preschool classes are available during all of our regular weekend and mid-week adult services, giving kids a safe, welcoming place to grow while parents take part in worship and community.

WEDNESDAYS @ 6 PM
From an early age, we want to help children grow in their understanding of God’s love and truth. Our AWANA Cubbies program, designed for preschoolers ages 3–5, introduces them to basic Christian truths in a fun and age-appropriate way.
Each week, children enjoy activities, games, handbooks, picture teaching cards, and more—all while learning to respect God, His Son, and His Word. It’s a joyful environment where faith and fun go hand in hand.
Cubbies meet every Wednesday night during the school year from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, giving kids a midweek boost of encouragement, connection, and excitement.
